Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist as well as an actress and musician. Her main work is as the performer as well as a music director for Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut came in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was in Annayum Rasoolum's film. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of In Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She is the younger sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up near Chennai She went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was an avid geek and aspired to become a psychiatrist until she completed her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano when she was just eight. At age 10 she was a part of a band called Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the foundation of her recording and composing music career. Additionally, she worked as a stage performer during college. She was also an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began by performing with actor Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the 2006 Leo Coffee commercial alongside Shiva. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a TV serial which was broadcast on Podhigai. She's performed on stage in India. Her role was minor as a guest in Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He wanted her to join his main female characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man who is in love with her. Andrea was selected for the part after actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were sought out. It came out in early the year 2010. The film was released in early 2010. in the film of Venkat Mankatha in 2011 which starred a number of actors. The actress made her Malayalam film debut alongside the Annayum film of Rajeeev Ratti by Rasoolum in 2013.
