The fact that she was bipolar and anorexic was a further cause of her problems. Gossow spoke very openly about her decision to leave ARCH Enemy as their singer. She stated, "There's a place and timing for all things." The first time I began was in the year 1991. It wasn't fun anymore living a life of nomadism. So, to not appear as if I had a break, I decided to quit. The original leader of this group was Johan Liiva. She was later replaced in 2000 by German vocalist Angela Gossow. She was also the former lead vocalist as well as a founding band member of Canadian metalcore group, the Agonist. Every episode of Arch Enemy commands respect for each of their reasons. Looking at them from the beginning, the band's founding guitar player Michael Amott has done us an excellent favor by naming his three most-loved songs, with each of the three band vocalists.
