Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in 1986. The Canadian actress works in Hollywood. She was the lead character Alexis Rose for the CBC comedy TV series Schitt's Trail that began in 2015 and ran until the year 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born on the Canadian province of Ontario. Her birthplace was in Ottawa, Canada. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where she performed in stage productions. The next step was to attend Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma.
